Breast Cancer Awareness Month — Round Up

It’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month again, and I know our band of 20 has mixed feelings about a month dedicated to the colors of cancer, the publicity, the branding, the profits that are being made, the media, and our own efforts to do breast cancer awareness outreach.

This is an open thread — what posts or other activities have you done for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year?  Hook us up with a link and we’ll all make the rounds!

I have other posts about breast cancer this month, but my “end of the month” post can be found here:

I had mixed feelings about the month, which I didn’t expect going into it. I guess it is a lot to take in for those of us who live it all of the time.

I posted about breast cancer more than once, but my kind of “ending” post is up here:

I had mixed feelings about the month, which surprised me. At the beginning of the month, I was all gung-ho about it, but then found myself uncharacteristically quiet on my blog about breast cancer. I guess it was a lot to take in, especially for those of us (me, anyways) who live the reality day in and day out.

I’m a mixed bag of emotions for this month also. I’m starting to see it as a common trend among BC patients/survivors. Last year was much worse. I didn’t even want to go to the grocery store because of all the pink ribbons.

    I wrote October Musings –
both here and on my site.

I’ve also written a few posts on CLEAR – my church’s new women’s ministry blog:
