What can I say? I am just sitting there is Starbucks with my friend KP and she looks at her cup. Really looks at it and hands it to me. This is what it said. Wow! I could’t believe it.
I found the best way to fight your fear during cancer treatment is to be able to smile and laugh at it once and a while. I bet if it could, it would be pissed off!!!!???????

THIS IN MY MIND IS SICK. THE LAST TIME I CHECKED ME LOSING MY BREASTS WAS NOT FUNNY. PEOPLE DONT GIGGLE WHEN U GET CHEMO. I CALLED STARBUCKS OVER THIS VERY CUP. THEY TOOK MY NAME AND NUMBER AND DISMISSED ME. IM LIVID. IM CURRENTLY A BREAST CANCER PATIENT. IM FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT, I HAVE BEEN FOR 4 YEARS THIS MARCH, AND I GO TO STARBUCKS AND READ THIS. HOW D A R E THEY!!! I AM SENDING EMAILS TO KOMEN, THE ACS AND EVERY WOMEN IN MY 3 SUPPORT GROUPS. I WONT SETTLE UNTIL THIS CUP IS REMOVED FROM THIER STORE. WHAT GOES ON IN THE MINDS OF STARBUCKS THAT THINKS THIS IS CUTE, FUNNY OR ANYTHING LESS THAN OFFENSIVE. SHAME ON THEM I SAY!!!!! THATS THEY WAY I SEE IT.
Update… Starbucks called me back today. They are phasing cup #295 out. Thank God. Its horrible. Im glad they saw it for was it was… offensive. A big Thank You to Jenna at Starbucks for getting this done. Kudos!!~ VC In Ohio
